Steps to Justice training at the next Youth Justice Network Meeting on Tuesday June 20, 2017

Please note there will be a training session delivered by Community Legal Education Ontario geared towards Frontline Youth Workers at the next upcoming Youth Justice Network meeting.  The meeting will be taking place on Tuesday June 20, 2017 from 3pm – 5pm at the Leave Out Violence office location at 3130 Bathurst Street, Suite 202 Toronto, Ontario.

Community Legal Education Ontario is excited to announce the launch of Steps to Justice. Steps to Justice is a new website that gives reliable, step-by-step information on common legal problems in family, criminal, employment and other areas of law. You can learn more about this project by visiting www.stepstojustice.ca and from the video below.Steps to Justice:

·  equips people to work through their legal problems through easy-to-understand steps

·  includes practical tools, such as checklists, fillable forms, and self-help guides

·  gives referral information for legal and social services across Ontario

·  has live chat and email-based support for users with additional questions

·  allows community organizations to embed its content on their own websites for free so your clients can access legal information without leaving your website.

The Youth Justice Network will be hosting a training workshop on Steps to Justice on June 20th, 2017. Please contact Orville Wallace if you would like to attend or Rebecca Stulberg if you would like to have your own training session.
