COMMUNITY PERSPECTIVES ON SUICIDE PREVENTION

This Open Dialogue will feature discussion about policy recommendations, and available resources and supports in relation to suicide, for both service providers, and impacted community members. The opportunity to identify other needed services and supports will also be discussed.

Dear Community Healers,
 
Community Healers Project is holding an event on Thursday Nov 10 2016 from 6 to 9 pm at the Youth Action Network space 1489 Dupont St near Symington.
 
This gathering is for frontline community and youth workers but also anyone who cares about the issues, feels part of the community or wants to check out what we are about.
 
We'll make it potluck but I will bring a few core dishes. 
 
There will be time to chat and network.
 

RCMP and sexual harassment against women

Bob Paulson, Commissioner of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, has announced that the two class action law suits brought by women claiming they were sexually harassed while working for the RCMP will be settled with the payment of $100 million, to be disbursed by a former senior judge.
