Frontlines is offering a free culinary program for youth between the ages of 18-29
Students gain job ready skills to work in the ever-growing and exciting food service sector. Hands on experience learning basic cooking skills such as knife skills, terminology, food safety, food security, nutrition, measurements, menu planning, baking and more. Students participate in workshops pertaining to the foodservice industry and enjoy exciting guest speakers that give them a sneak peek into this multifaceted industry. Partnering with an employment/training agency, our students also learn workplace interview training and resume building. Integrated into all aspects of the program is essential skills building. These skills ensure participants will be able to maintain employment, build successful lives, and succeed in pursuing their dreams.
