Do you have a PASSION for improving your community?

Are you a RESIDENT-LED GROUP with a great event idea that needs funding?

Grants of $1,000 are available to activate your neighbourhood and advance the Toronto Strong Neighbourhood Strategy 2020 (TSNS 2020).

What is the Neighbourhood Micro Grant Program?

The Neighbourhood Micro Grants program aims to support the delivery of local actions identified by residents and community partners involved in TSNS 2020.

The Neighbourhood Micro Grants program will make available small grants of $1,000 to resident-led groups to help them inspire their neighbourhoods with events held between August and December.

Funding will be available for events that take place in the 31 Neighbourhood Improvement Areas (NIA) and the 8 Emerging Neighbourhoods between August and December, 2017. Click here to see the list of 39 identified neighbourhoods.

In the first round of grants, up to two (2) groups from each of the 39 neighbourhoods will be funded for events that advance TSNS 2020. (Application for events held next year will open in the fall.)

Review the Slide Deck and the Full Guidelines to find out if you're eligible to apply!

·         Visit our Neighbourhood Micro Grants web page for additional information (such as the sample application questions, contacts of your local Community Development Officer for more information, event check-lists, etc.)

·         The Application Form will be open starting May 19, 2017 (deadline is June 9).

If your group is eligible, you are invited to attend Pitch & Advice information meetings to be held in May (dates/locations will be listed here by April 26).
