May 15th, 2017 - Know Where We Stand 2.0 [Scarborough] - Navigating City Spaces FREE PD for Frontline Service Providers

The Ontario Justice Education Network (OJEN-ROEJ) in collaboration with the Community Crisis Response Program (CCRP) is pleased to offer Know Where We Stand 2.0, a free full day workshop for frontline service providers, youth workers and those who support youth residents. 

This workshop explores the legal layers that arise from the agreements, policies and procedures that may affect Toronto Community Housing and various city owned properties.

Participants will have an opportunity to meet and connect with legal professionals, safety advisors, police officers and community advocates to learn more!

Topics include:  

·      Understanding Police as "Agents" of the Landlord

·      Dealing with a trespass offence

·      Anti-social behaviour and evictions

·      Legal Impact of filming on private property. 

·      Street Checks

·      Navigating community supports and more!
