The Newcomer Youth Program at West Neighbourhood House is welcoming all newcomer youth, permanent residents and conventional refugee’s ages 13-24 to join us in our exciting events and programming for the March Break!

Queer Asian Youth Pilot Yoga Program!

QAY is launching a pilot yoga program (supported by ACAS Volunteer Program)!
This program is designed to be an open level class from complete beginners to those with more experience. While the sessions will primarily be based around an active physical practice, it may also include meditation, breath-work and philosophy. 
•6-week program beginning every Wednesday, 6:00pm to 7:30pm, from March 9th to April 13th.


Repeats every week every Monday until Mon May 30 2016 except Mon Mar 14 2016, Mon Mar 28 2016, Mon May 23 2016.

Trauma sensitive yoga program at CTYS starts March 1st, 2016

Hello Everyone,
CTYS is pleased to offer another 8 week trauma sensitive yoga program, beginning March 1st, Tuesday afternoons from 4 to 5 pm, for queer and trans youth ages 16 to 24. Youth can be referred or self refer to this program.

KeepRockinYou will be hosting an all Hip Hop style dance camp all week for ages 7-11 (full day) and 12-17 (half day).  We are bringing some of Toronto's finest to the Durham region, so tell a friend or two.
