42 Rides Presents: Fresh Wheels 2016 Skateboard and BMX Competition

Join the 42 Rides youth steering committee at the grand re-opening of the 42 Rides BMX/Skatepark (Formerly MalvernSkatepark) Fresh Wheels 2016 

at the Malvern Recreation Centre (Arena #2 Blue) from 12:00-5:00 pm on Sunday June 5, 2016. This event will include Street BMX and Skateboarding competitions (Best Trick, Timed Runs, Highest Ollie/Hop) free giveaways, food, live DJ as well as free Skateboard clinics open to all!

YEP Share: GBC Fashion Exchange - Training Program (18-30)

Greetings,

 

This summer, George Brown College is offering a free, youth (18-30) training program, Fashion Exchange (FX) where you will gain hands-on skills that will prepare you for entry-level opportunities in the fashion industry.

 

The program involves:

•       12 weeks of in-class training to prepare you for the workplace  (Monday - Friday, 152 hours of class time in total)

•       1-month unpaid internship to gain practical work experience in the field (100 hours)

Come join us at Well Fest as we share the importance of youth health! We will have breakaway sessions on physical health/fitness & nutrition, mental health, dating & relationships & substance use. Featuring guest speakers and entertainment!

Women's Parkour Camp

The Parkour Camp is dedicated to young women looking to learn or develop the fundamentals of parkour while pushing their comfort zone as you explore your mental and physical limitations. The group will meet for six Sunday sessions in addition to a five day camp designed to develop abilities intensively. This camp and sessions are free to attend.
