A new report that for the first time calculates the effect of poverty in Ontario child protection has found it plays a significant role in kids being taken from their families and placed into care.

Fluidity on Film is a 10 week paid program for up to 8 young LGBTQ* & Two Spirit artists interested in media making. Participants gain conceptual & technical skills in videography & editing, as well as mentorship to produce their own short video exploring Fluidity as an identity, concept, metaphor, politic and so much more! Food, tokens, honoraria, mentorship, field trips & public screenings included!

During the 2014 Canadian Alliance to End Homelessness conference in Vancouver, a group of individuals came together with a common goal: to ensure that individuals with lived experience received equitable representation from service providers, researchers, policy makers, and others, so that they can better understand and tackle the problem of homelessness.
