Special Education Forum: Building Employment Skills throughout the Curriculum being held on Tuesday, May 23, 6:30 pm at Central Etobicoke High School.

This special round table discussion will be a backwards mapping exercise starting with a discussion of what skills employers are looking for. Then we’ll discuss what knowledge, skills and attitudes we should be teaching in high school, elementary school and at home. See the flyer attached for more details.

CET Post Secondary IS Possible: Alternative Choices Marketplace -on May 10, 2017

On May 10th in the Metro Hall Rotunda, the Council of Educators of Toronto (CET) will be hosting its Post-Secondary IS Possible - Alternative Choices Marketplace.

The CET is a unique 15 member network comprised of representatives from the City's English and French-language colleges, universities, school boards and the United Way Toronto & York Region. Our vision is to make post-secondary education more accessible for those who face challenges in their life.

Accepting Applications for Free IT Training starting in May

NPower Canada is launching two free IT training sessions beginning May 2017 for youth aged 18-29 interested in starting a career with technology skills.

Since opening our doors in Fall 2014, NPower Canada has helped more than 200 youth launch their careers in IT with 87% of graduates employed and/or in education three months post-graduation.
