Seeking Community Leaders from Wards 11 & 12

The Response and Recovery Project is looking for TWELVE well-connected community leaders who are passionate about supporting healing in their communities.

WHO YOU ARE:

  • Living in Wards 11 or 12 and/or very well connected to a community here
  • Available to make a 2 hour a week commitment through the winter and spring

About Stella’s Place:

Initiated by young adults and their families, Stella’s Place will provide evidence-based assessment and treatment services to young adults between 16 and 29 with complex mental health needs or concurrent disorders, in a positive peer-driven and recovery-focused community setting. Stella’s Place will open in Toronto in 2016.

Community Feast at the central YMCA on Grosvenor Street - following the ceremony. Food provided by Na Me Res Native Men's Residence.

Please leave your agency and organization banners at home and instead make signs in honour of women, girls, Trans and Two Spirit people who have died violent and premature deaths.
