About Stella’s Place:

Initiated by young adults and their families, Stella’s Place will provide evidence-based assessment and treatment services to young adults between 16 and 29 with complex mental health needs or concurrent disorders, in a positive peer-driven and recovery-focused community setting. Stella’s Place will open in Toronto in 2016.

It’s never easy to get used to shorter days with the falling mercury. For many of us, the cold temperatures are made more tolerable knowing that the winter holidays are just around the corner.

But as a Kids Help Phone counsellor, I’ve talked to a lot of young people who really don’t see the holidays as a bright spot.
